Background
Rwenzori Agro-processing Miller’s Ltd is a private company limited, strategically located in Kasese Municipality, southwestern Uganda, approximately 372 km from the capital, Kampala. The company was established in 2020 and is primarily engaged in agricultural value chains for cereals and pulses, with experience in agribusiness, as well as other business lines such as
transport logistics and construction.
The company works with a network of 2,000 smallholder farmers and individual traders in the districts of Kasese, Rubirizi, Bunyangabo, Kamwenge, Fortportal, Bundibugyo, Ntungamo, Rukiga, and Kabale. Rwenzori Agro-processing millers Ltd employs over 100 people both directly and indirectly, and has built a clientele portfolio that includes but is not limited to the Office of the Prime Minister, the Office of the President. The company exports its products to Kenya, the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan, and Rwanda.
Rwenzori Agro-processing millers Ltd is a member of the Eastern Africa Grain Council, Uganda Manufacturers Association, and the Uganda Export Promotions Board.
The company has invested in a grain trading and handling hub with a total storage capacity of 15,000MT in both Bulk and bagged storage in Kasese Municipality. And with satellite stores in Bunyangabo, Kyenjojo, and Kamwenge.
The main Warehouse and factory complex in Kasese is fitted with a 25MT per Hour mechanical Dryer and a complete Grain Cleaning and grading line comprising a pre-cleaner, 20MT per Hour Destoner, 15MT per hour Gravity Separator to ensure that all customer quality needs are met and a milling capacity of 170MT mill.
